This is an interesting western style novel. It focuses on a civilization that lives under the care of dragons. It’s a knight style kingdom focus novel, where the king of the country is a dragon rider and the lesser nobles are wyvern riders.
I personally am a big fan of novels where people are integrated with beasts/dragons. The MC starts as a knight with his own small town. He then goes on from their with a lot of town building to build up his own city using methods from modern day. He also grows to become beast knight and then a dragon knight.
His only real cheat is a baby dragon that comes into his dreams, he then can use this dragon to find fairies and other rare items around wherever he falls asleep. He uses this cheat rather well in order to make himself grow stronger as well as his town to grow stronger. Both of these allows him to built up his own power rather quickly.
I am giving this novel 4 stars. In general I liked this novel, the MC is smart and uses his advantages well. He sometimes has to much good luck where it feels a little artificial where the writer is making him have to many good luck opportunities. The MC has a good character that you can see grow throughout the novel, it does get a little boring at times with a lot of kingdom building.
