This novel is interesting, where its a martial arts novel that so far keeps the world as just a martial art level and doesn’t have anything to do with cultivation or immortality. The main character because of his skills is stronger and would live longer then most people but as of chapter 375 cultivators don’t exist. Which to me is a little refreshing sometimes with these novels its like I become the strongest in the martial arts world and now I join cultivation and I am at the bottom and everything I did for the first part of the book is pointless and know I am the weakest of the weakest. So its nice not having that.
The MC doesn’t realize how lucky he is, like as he has gotten stronger he has had enemies he has had to fight. But he always has some type of mentor or force to help him when he is weaker. And the bosses he has had in the forces he is in have all been super helpful to him and provide him with a ton of support. He often times gets himself into trouble because he constantly wants to get revenge on people and can’t let any insult go. Their is always someone to clean up his mess incase he gets into trouble with someone stronger then himself. And he just expects these people to just come out and protect him without any prior knowledge that they will be there to save him, he is just like ohh thats convenient I don’t have to run, like that was your plan….
Overall the book is pretty solid the MC is just a little short sighted sometimes. People tell him like hey can you think about it before you do something reckless and he is like it goes against my martial art spirit to do whatever I want to do…. which is like ok well I guess this will continue to happen. He does have a cheat which basically allows him to grow to the peak at each level. Will help shape his body so he can reach 100% at each level, which at the beginning doesn’t matter to much but later on makes a huge difference. I am going to give the book 4 stars because I enjoyed the read even if its frustrating sometimes.
