I want to like this novel but I just can’t. The MC is just super overpowered in a way that is just stupid. The book is completely focused on him getting stronger in the game but he is so overpowered that he never has any challenges. This just makes for a very boring and somewhat pointless book. Well you might think maybe there’s other parts of the book like what about his life in real life or is there good character development. There is absolutely no real life written in the book like the only mentioned is that he gets 50% of the game strength and that he logs out of the game the next day he logs back in.
There is absolutely no character development, he just wants to become stronger and beat the evil aliens and anyone else besides people from China. He gets a girlfriend kinda, he saves an NPC and she becomes his follower which he can eventually bring into the real world. I am just looking forward to the day the book lets us see the real world.
I am at chapter 152, I really can’t read it anymore, it’s honestly just too boring and predictable. I have to give it 2 stars. I am only giving it 2 stars because I really like the concept of a healing MC and I really like the world building concept, I just wish it was executed better.
