What kind of foundation should be built?
Mo Hua had never considered this question, so he asked

“Is there any difference between foundation building and foundation building?”

“There are big differences between monks and monks, and foundation building is naturally different.”

Mr. Zhuang then explained:

“The foundation of a monk relies on spiritual consciousness, spiritual power and physical body.”

“Different monks are born with different consciousnesses, qi seas, and physical bodies. The exercises and Tao methods they practice are also diverse. If they choose different ones, the Tao they practice will naturally be different.”

Mo Hua is a little worried.

He originally thought that being able to build a foundation would be good, but he didn’t expect that building a foundation would require so much care and he would have to choose what to build.

But he had never considered these things before, and he didn’t know what to do for a while.

“Sir, can’t we take this one step at a time?” Mo Hua whispered.

Mr. Zhuang said: “Monks practice Taoism by refining Qi, building the foundation and paving the way, step by step. Whatever path you want to take and what path you want to practice, you must consider it at the beginning. It will be very difficult to change your mind later.”

Mo Hua paused for a moment and asked weakly: “Sir, do you think I’m like this, what kind of practice is better for me?”

Mr. Zhuang glanced at the ink painting and said bluntly:

“You can’t do it with your physical body, but with your spiritual roots… you’re actually not very good at it either.”

Although Mo Hua was well aware of the fact that he was born with a weak body and a mediocre spirit, he still felt a little uncomfortable when he heard what Mr. Zhuang said, so he asked tentatively:

“Is it really that bad?”

He thought it was okay, at least the spiritual root was still below average.

Seeing Mo Hua’s watery eyes, Mr. Zhuang couldn’t bear to speak directly.

“It’s not that bad…” Mr. Zhuang said euphemistically, “It’s just that the potential is great!”

Mo Hua was stunned for a moment and his expression became complicated.

What Mr. Zhuang said was indeed very tactful…

There is great potential in the future, which means that the current ability is very poor…

“Then in the future, will it be possible for me to refine my body, or will I have any advantages in spiritual power?” Mo Hua still had some hope.

Mr. Zhuang touched his chin, “It depends on who you compete with.”

“how to say?”

Mr. Zhuang said: “First of all, you have a lower-middle-grade spiritual root, which seems to be pretty good, but this is compared with the casual cultivators in Tongxian City. If you compare with family monks, sect disciples, especially the descendants of third- and fourth-grade forces, Than, even if it’s not popular.”

Mo Hua nodded, this is indeed true.

The spiritual roots of some disciples from aristocratic families and sects are indeed much better than his.

“Do you know about spiritual root inheritance?” Mr. Zhuang asked.

“Yeah.” Mo Hua nodded.

He heard An Xiaofu say that husband and wife have different spiritual roots, and there are rules to follow in the spiritual roots and grades of children. This is spiritual root inheritance.

Mr. Zhuang said: “More than 20,000 years ago, when the Taoist court was first established, high-grade spiritual roots were indeed extremely rare. Even high-grade and low-grade spiritual roots were highly valued and vigorously cultivated…”

“But since some aristocratic families discovered that spiritual roots are heritable and that this inheritance is controllable, all aristocratic families and sects have followed this principle and arranged marriages for their children.”

“It is precisely because of this that high-grade spiritual roots can be found everywhere in larger aristocratic sects nowadays, and high-grade and low-grade spiritual roots are no longer rare.”

Mr. Zhuang silently looked at the ink painting again and said nothing.

High-grade and low-grade spiritual roots are not considered rare, let alone Mo Hua, a middle-grade and low-grade one.

The lower middle level is better than the upper middle level, but there are still three thresholds left.

Mr. Zhuang was considerate enough not to say it.

Mr. Zhuang hadn’t finished speaking yet, and added: “This is just compared with the ordinary disciples of the aristocratic sect. If you compare with the proud ones among them, the gap between you and them will be even greater.”

“Let’s not talk about it from afar, just take Zi Sheng and Zi Xi as an example. Compared to them, your physical and spiritual talents are vastly different.”

“Is the gap really that big?” Mo Hua asked quietly.

Mr. Zhuang hesitated for a moment, but decided to tell the truth, “The gap is not really that big. In fact, it is bigger than what I said…”

Mo Hua was shocked.

He didn’t even know that Zisheng and Zixi’s talents were so high?

In other words, his talent is so low? Mo Hua thought of what Mr. Zhuang had said about “the way of heaven” and “spiritual consciousness” before, and asked, “Then shall I major in divine consciousness?”

Mr. Zhuang nodded and said: “Yes, since the physical body and spiritual roots cannot compare with others, then there is no need to compare. You compare with spiritual consciousness.”

“Your physical body and spiritual roots are weaker than you think, but your spiritual consciousness is actually stronger than you think.”

Mr. Zhuang looked at the ink painting and said silently in his heart: “It is even possible that it will be much better than I thought…”

Mo Hua didn’t know what Mr. Zhuang was thinking, but he was still a little entangled in the talents of his physical body and spiritual roots, and asked: “Then, can the problems of my physical body and spiritual roots be improved?”

Mr. Zhuang shook his head slightly and said: “Weakness is an innate problem. It can be improved, but no matter how you improve it, it cannot change the root cause. At most, after improvement, the physical body will not be that weak, but it will not be much stronger. It is different from those who are born with physical training. There’s no way the monks can compare.”

“Spiritual roots are predetermined innately. Whatever spiritual root you are born with will be that spiritual root for the rest of your life. You cannot change it. If you are worse than others, you are worse than others. There is no other good way.”

“So if you are strong, you should major in whatever you want to do, and use your strengths to avoid weaknesses, is that right?” Mo Hua said.

Mr. Zhuang nodded, “Spiritual consciousness, spiritual power and physical body are the foundation of a monk’s practice. All three are indispensable. However, the way of heaven is harsh and people’s talents are limited. After all, it is impossible to cover everything. Cultivation does not require you to be better than others in everything. It’s good if you can practice something profoundly.”

Mo Hua nodded, feeling his thoughts suddenly clear, and then curiously said:

“Is there anyone who knows everything?”

Mr. Zhuang was silent for a moment and said slowly: “Yes, but people with such extraordinary talents are rare. Looking at the entire monastic world, they are also unique talents that have not been seen in thousands of years!”

Mo Hua was a little envious, but after thinking about it, he let it go.

You don’t need to think about it to know that if you cultivate your spiritual consciousness, spiritual power, and physical body, you will need an extremely profound monastic inheritance, extremely rich spiritual stone resources, and extremely precious heaven and earth spiritual objects to support you.

Even if he has this kind of peerless talent, without inheritance and resources, he is just a pearl covered in dust and a waste of qualifications.

You can’t be too greedy as a person. It’s good for him to cultivate his spiritual consciousness.

But if you major in spiritual consciousness, can you really aspire to the great road? And he didn’t seem to have heard of any monks who majored in spiritual consciousness.

Mo Hua thought for a moment and then asked: “Sir, are there any other monks who major in spiritual consciousness?”

“rare.”

“How many are there?”

Mr. Zhuang said: “Normal monks will not cultivate spiritual consciousness.”

Mo Hua was stunned for a moment, with mixed emotions. Was he an “abnormal” monk…

Mr. Zhuang smiled and said, “The physical and spiritual power are obviously strong, and the spiritual consciousness is vaguely strong, and the spiritual consciousness is void and elusive. Except for some formation masters, due to the needs of the formation, they must have strong spiritual consciousness before they have to go.” Except for those who major in spiritual consciousness, few other monks would choose this path.”

“That’s it…” Mo Hua sighed slightly.

Mr. Zhuang’s eyes narrowed slightly, “But you are different. You are born with a weak body, but your spiritual roots are average. Your spiritual consciousness is almost your only strength, and it is too strong…”

“In this case, then cultivate your spiritual consciousness to the extreme, to the point where other monks can’t catch up, or even be intimidated…”

Mr. Zhuang looked at the small ink painting with a far-reaching gaze and said: “As long as you cultivate your spiritual consciousness to be strong enough, one day you will be able to attain enlightenment with your spiritual consciousness, and with the help of your supreme spiritual consciousness, you can get a glimpse of the true meaning of the great road!”
