I have really enjoyed this novel, it’s an awesome combination of beast taming, slice of life and adventure. The novel is a little slow paced compared to some adventure novels but I can’t stop smiling when reading this novel and enjoying the slice of life parts. The interaction between the main character and his pets are so cute and hilarious. There is no love interest in the novel so far and I am at chapter 250, he is all about getting stronger and using his cheat.
The MC cheat ability in the novel allows him to infinitely evolve his pets without any real bottlenecks. He uses his own strength/vitality to make an egg of evolution surround the pet, which either strengthens the beast in a certain direction or allows it to mutate if other materials are included during the evolution. This makes for a way for the MC to continue to make any pet stronger. I like this cheat ability because it’s strong but not too strong where the MC is completely broken.
The MC has 4 awesome beasts as of chapter 250 range. He starts with a low level skeleton and eventually evolves into an awesome skeleton swordsman with the power of death. Keeps a cool calm collective personality and is the most reliable of his beasts. The second is this ice wolf who basically is a husky and acts like it. He provides comic relief throughout the novel and is hilarious. The 3rd beast is a slime/ooze monster that basically is superpowered and can absorb like everything and provides the cute happy bubbly personality. The 4rth is an interesting mix of beasts that I would consider unique to beast taming novels and a big fan and I will leave it to people to read and find out.
